Central Water Treatment Plant Improvements

The City of Watertown chose Maas Brothers Construction for the Central Water Treatment Plant Improvements project. The project included comprehensive revisions to the City of Watertown’s water treatment and water department facilities. The water treatment plant project included:

  • Demolition of existing structures at the water treatment plant, located at 806 South First Street in Watertown. This included demo of a 56,000 cu. ft. water treatment reservoir, 4,800 sq. ft. water filter building and a 7,000 sq. ft. maintenance building.
  • Construction of a new 8,200 sq. ft. water filter building, including alterations and complete cleaning of a 54,750 cu. ft. water reservoir, and the installation of four new 21,000 cu. ft. water filtering tanks.
  • Construction of a new 11,820 sq. ft. water maintenance building at 800 Hoffmann Drive in Watertown, including new vehicle storage bays, equipment storage shop space, offices and a locker room for use by the Watertown Water Department.
